Help out

Volunteering

The club runs on people who roll up their sleeves. Here you'll find what we're looking for, how much time it takes and what's in it for you. One hour a month helps just as much as a permanent role.

Where we need reinforcements

Pick a role and get in touch. We'll work out with you how much fits.

Help wanted

Youth coach

You take a youth team through the season, as part of a coaching team and not on your own. Each of our teams has two to five people on the touchline.

90 minutes of training twice a week, plus match day

What's in it for you

  • Induction by an experienced coaching team
  • Coaching kit from Jako

Enhanced criminal record certificate every three years (child protection policy). Free for volunteers: the club issues the confirmation you need for it.

Helper at club parties

Bar, barbecue, till or setting up and clearing away at our parties. You put your name down via the rota link, no registration needed.

Coming up: Halloween party on 31 October, Christmas party on 4 December, Christmas tree sale on 12 December and Neujahrshexen on 1 January 2027. All events

A shift of two or three hours, as often as you like

What's in it for you

  • A drink and food during your shift
  • An invitation to the helpers' evening once a year
Help wanted

Pitches and grounds

Keeping the artificial pitch, grass pitch, changing rooms and surroundings in shape, together on our work days.

The next work days: 13 March 2027 and 28 August 2027. All events

Two work days a year, plus more by arrangement

What's in it for you

  • Lunch and drinks
  • Good spirits

Photos and social media

Photographing match days and parties, short clips for Instagram. Your pictures fill this website and the club magazine “Labor & more”.

Flexible, about one match day a month

What's in it for you

  • A photo credit for every picture on the website and in the magazine

Referee

No referees, no matches. Training in the Heinsberg district from age 14, four to six course days, and after that you first referee with an experienced mentor at your side.

You referee when you have time: you report your free dates yourself

What's in it for you

  • The club pays for the course
  • Kit from the club
  • Expenses for every match

What's already covered

Thanks to volunteers, a lot already runs reliably. An extra pair of hands is still always welcome.

Bar duty

Wednesday to Friday evenings in the “En de Meer” clubhouse, plus Frühschoppen (late-morning Sunday drinks).

Food and drinks container

At every senior home match; the three teams take turns.

Finances and members

Membership fees, new members, funding applications: the quiet engine in the background.

Board and organisation

Meetings, applications, football association admin and the many small decisions.

This is what it looks like

No stock photos: a work day on the grounds, pitch work even in the snow, the bar on match days and the volunteer crews building the artificial pitch (2010) and the stand (2016). That is what we mean when we talk about volunteering.
