Christmas party

This year, for the first time, we are inviting guests to a big Christmas party at the Forum Wegberg. The party is by invitation only. Everyone who cannot be with us that evening is warmly welcome shortly afterwards at the Christmas tree sale at the sports ground.

Why not buy your Christmas tree from the Sportfreunde? We sell them together with our sponsor Blatt & Blume Schockert, and for every tree sold here, Schockert donates an amount to the club. The tree ends up in your living room, the money stays in the club.

Neujahrshexen

Neujahrshexen is an old custom here on the Lower Rhine: on New Year's Day people play, draw lots and "hex" for prizes. At the Sportfreunde it is a fixed date, always on 1 January There are great prizes to be won.

Bosseln (road bowling)

Bosseln (road bowling) actually comes from northern Germany. In Uevekoven it has been part of winter for more than 25 years: the ball is thrown along a set course, and whoever needs the fewest throws wins. Anyone can join in, just get in touch with Nico Sauerland any time: kassierer@sportfreunde-uevekoven.de.

Papa’s Power Party

Over the years, the traditional Father's Day party in Uevekoven has become the last stop for all fathers, fathers-to-be and everyone else out and about that day. Hence the motto: Endstation En de Meer. This is where the party really gets going when everywhere else is packing up.

Wiesenfest
Party3–5 September 2027 · Uevekoven sports ground
Our traditional Wiesenfest, usually from Friday to Sunday. On Friday, depending on the fixtures, there is usually a home match for one of the senior teams. On Saturday we play the boules tournament, which runs into wine night in the evening. Sunday belongs to the children, with fun and games and youth tournaments.
